This series of drawings was an experiment to explore the depth of randomness and symbols. For each drawing, a simple random word was chosen. Here’s how the process works:
1. Choose a random world (example; Crowd)
2. List the things that come to mind when you hear the word. (example: Together for the word Crowd)
3. Write down the opposite word for each word from the previous list. (Opposite of together: Devided)
4. Write down the word or concept that comes to mind when the two opposites are combined. (Together+Devided= Plant) Final list:(Plant, Thought, Cat, House, Couple, Wood)
Make a short story which contains all the combined words from the opposites. (A
Couple were Planting a tree outside of the House, Thinking about the Cat sitting on a Wooden chair)
5. Illustrate the story.
