This piece is about the 116,000 Polish refugees who entered Iran during World War II in dire health conditions. Despite facing famine and hunger due to the global conflict, Iran accommodated the soldiers and their families. They helped them settle in Isfahan, where the majority of Iranian Christians lived, so the refugees could feel more connected to the community and more at home.
